Steven Okoye is a corporate and healthcare attorney based in New York, working at the intersection of law, business, and healthcare. He helps organizations stay compliant, manage risk, and operate responsibly in a complex regulatory environment.
As Deputy General Counsel at EHE Health, Steven leads the legal team and oversees compliance, contracts, and corporate governance. He has improved how the company manages risk by introducing streamlined contract systems and compliance programs that strengthen efficiency and uphold federal and state standards.
Earlier in his career, Steven worked at Macquarie Group, where he managed corporate governance for mergers, restructurings, and legal entity transitions across the Americas. He also supported healthcare organizations in earlier roles, guiding contract negotiations and regulatory compliance efforts. He began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Appellate Division, where he developed a strong foundation in legal writing and analysis.
Steven earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, where he was recognized for his leadership and advocacy work. He served as Managing Technology Editor of the Journal of Law & Public Policy and Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, earning the Award for Service to Rutgers Law School and recognition for excellence in written advocacy at the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Temple University and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Steven is dedicated to making the legal system transparent, quick, and easy to use so that businesses and healthcare providers can meet their responsibilities and go forward with confidence.
